Ingredients

French Garlic Butter Monk Fish

  • 4 x 200g monk fish fillets
  • Garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

French Garlic Butter

  • 100g butter - cubed
  • 3 garlic cloves - crushed
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley - chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch salt and pepper

Method

French Garlic Butter Monk Fish

  • Season the fish fillets with garlic salt and pepper.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Pan fry the fish on both sides until cooked through.

French Garlic Butter

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter and garlic together. Cook for 2 minutes. Add in the wine and simmer for a minute.
  • Add in the remaining ingredients and tip over the fish.
