Honey Mustard Pork Chops with Crispy Bacon
- 4 pork chops
- Garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 cloves garlic - crushed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon each: Dijon mustard, wholegrain mustard, apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup cooked crispy bacon pieces for serving
Method
Honey Mustard Pork Chops with Crispy Bacon
- Season the pork chops with garlic salt and pepper. Drizzle with the cooking oil.
- Heat a large frying pan over a high heat and sear the chops on both sides - set aside.
- Turn the heat down and add in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add in the remaining ingredients except the bacon and simmer for 1 minute.
- Place the pork chops into the sauce with any resting juices and simmer for a couple of minutes or until the pork is cooked to your liking.
- Serve the pork chops with the sauce and top with crispy bacon.
