Ingredients

Honey Mustard Pork Chops with Crispy Bacon

  • 4 pork chops
  • Garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic - crushed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon each: Dijon mustard, wholegrain mustard, apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup cooked crispy bacon pieces for serving

Method

Honey Mustard Pork Chops with Crispy Bacon

  • Season the pork chops with garlic salt and pepper. Drizzle with the cooking oil.
  • Heat a large frying pan over a high heat and sear the chops on both sides - set aside.
  • Turn the heat down and add in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add in the remaining ingredients except the bacon and simmer for 1 minute.
  • Place the pork chops into the sauce with any resting juices and simmer for a couple of minutes or until the pork is cooked to your liking.
  • Serve the pork chops with the sauce and top with crispy bacon.
