What You'll Need:

• Different coloured card paper

• Pipe cleaner

• 2 small pom poms

• 2 googly eyes

• Sharpie pen

• Hot glue gun

• Glue stick

Instructions:

• Fold the coloured paper you would like your butterfly to be in half

• Sketch an outline of half a butterfly's wing

• Cut out the outline and glue the butterfly to your base coloured paper

• Cut out different coloured spots for your butterfly’s wings – you can also add glitter or stickers to the wings!

• Cut the length of a new piece of paper to the width you would like the butterfly body to be and cut into 3 equal pieces. Roll these into cylinders and glue together

• Glue these cylinders to the centre of the butterfly

• Cut the pipe cleaners to length to create the antennas

• Using the hot glue gun, stick the pom poms to the end of the antennas and attach to the card

• Glue the googly eyes in place and using the sharpie pen, draw on the smile!
