Ingredients

For the Christmas hot chocolate

  • 2 cups cream
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • 200ml condensed milk
  • 170g cooking chocolate, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 4 candy canes
  • mini marshmallows for serving

Method

For the Christmas hot chocolate

  • Add half the cream to a slow cooker. Whisk in the cocoa powder until well combined.
  • Add the remaining cream, milk, condensed milk, chocolate and candy canes.
  • Stir well.
  • Cook on low for 3 hours, stirring regularly.
  • Serve in mugs topped with mini marshmallows.
