Creamy Pasta

For the Creamy Pasta

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 5 cloves garlic — crushed
  • 1 onion — diced
  • 250g spaghetti
  • 1 teaspoon powdered chicken stock
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 1/2 cups four cheese mix
  • 1/4 cup parsley — finely chopped
  • 2 cups baby spinach


For the Creamy Pasta

  • Heat the olive oil and butter on a medium heat in a large pan. Add the garlic and onion and cook for 1 minute without over browning.
  • Cook the pasta per the packet instructions. Reserve one cup of pasta water and mix with the chicken stock.
  • Add the pasta water, cream and cooked spaghetti to the large pan with the onion and garlic.
  • Bring to the boil, stirring. Add the cheese and spinach. Stir for a minute or two until everything is mixed together.
  • Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and serve.
