Ingredients

For the Glazed Carrots

  • 6 carrots
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

For the Glazed Carrots

  • Peel the carrots and cut into 1cm slices.
  • Bring a saucepan of salted water to the boil. Add the carrots and simmer for 4–5 minutes or until the carrots are tender. Drain well
  • Add the butter, brown sugar and salt. Toss with the carrots and cook until melted and smooth.
