Puff Pastry Quiche
- 1 sheet flaky pastry
- 1 1/2 cups grated tasty cheese
- 200g ham, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup cream
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Method
Puff Pastry Quiche
- Preheat oven to 190oC (170oC fan bake).
- Spray a round pie dish with baking spray and line the base and sides with flaky pastry.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of the grated cheese over the base followed by the diced ham and onion.
- In a medium bowl whisk the eggs, cream, and nutmeg together.
- Pour egg mixture over the cheese, ham and onion. Season with some salt and pepper.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until golden brown.
