Puff Pastry Quiche

  • 1 sheet flaky pastry
  • 1 1/2 cups grated tasty cheese
  • 200g ham, diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Method

Puff Pastry Quiche

  • Preheat oven to 190oC (170oC fan bake).
  • Spray a round pie dish with baking spray and line the base and sides with flaky pastry.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of the grated cheese over the base followed by the diced ham and onion.
  • In a medium bowl whisk the eggs, cream, and nutmeg together.
  • Pour egg mixture over the cheese, ham and onion. Season with some salt and pepper.
  • Top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until golden brown.
