Ingredients
Spaghetti Bolognese
- 1 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 500g beef mince
- 1 onion - diced
- 2 carrots - peeled and cut into a small dice
- 6 cloves garlic - crushed
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 400g can Italian flavoured tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup water - mixed with 2 teaspoons powdered chicken stock
- Pinch chilli
- 2 cups baby spinach
- Spaghetti pasta, cooked, to serve
- Shaved parmesan to serve
Method
Spaghetti Bolognese
- Heat the oil in a large pan over a high heat. Add in the mice and break it up as it browns.
- Add in the onion and carrot and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add in the garlic and tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Add in the remaining ingredients except for the spinach and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the spinach and simmer for a few more minutes until the spinach is wilted.
- Serve over cooked spaghetti and sprinkle with shaved parmesan.
