Apple and Pear Crumble

Crumbles are so comforting and so easy to make. Serve warm with ice cream.


  • 390g can diced apple – drained
  • 410g can pear halves – drained and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Cinnamon Crumble

  • ¾ cup oats
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 120g butter – diced


  • Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan bake).
  • Spray a 20cm oven dish with baking spray.
  • Combine the apples, pears, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Transfer to the prepared dish.
  • To make the Cinnamon Crumble, mix the oats, flour, sugars, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.
  • Add the butter and use a fork or your fingertips to rub it into the dry ingredients.
  • Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit and bake for 40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
