This mouthwatering sauce goes well with barbecued steak, lamb, pork, chicken and sausages.
Ingredients
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup pineapple juice
- 3 cloves garlic – crushed
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger - grated
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
Method
- Whisk all the ingredients together in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often.
- Store in the refrigerator.
