Ingredients
For the Beef
- 500g thinly sliced beef
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons cornflour
- 1 Tablespoon rice wine vinegar
For the Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup beef stock
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli garlic sauce
- 1 Tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 Tablespoon cornflour
Stir-fry
- 1 large red capsicum
- 1 large carrot
- 200g snow peas
- 1 head of broccoli
Method
Instructions
- In a bowl, add the beef , 2 tablespoons of cornflour , 1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar and season with salt and pepper , Mix together and set aside while you prepare the sauce
- In a separate bowl combine the sauce ingredients
- Peel the carrot and dice the stir-fry vegetables
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the beef mixture until lightly browned
- Remove the beef from the pan and set aside
- In the same pan add the stir-fry vegetables and fry until soft
- Stir in the sauce and add the beef. Allow the stir-fry to cook until the sauce thickens
- Serve with rice
