  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 small onion - finely dice
  • 45g butter - divided
  • 350g brown button mushrooms - sliced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary - finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic - crushed

Method

Method

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Sauté the onion for a few minutes.
  • Add in 30g butter, mushrooms, rosemary, garlic salt and pepper. Cook for 3 - 4minutes
  • Add in the balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic. Cook for a minute then add in the additional 15g butter. Stir well and serve with steak
