These cheesy morsels are so quick to whip up for a morning or afternoon tea.
Ingredients
For the cheese puffs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- 2 cups grated tasty cheese
- 1 egg — beaten
- 1⁄2 cup milk
Method
For the cheese puffs
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan bake). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Combine the flour, baking powder and cayenne in a large bowl.
- Stir in the cheese, then the egg and milk.
- Arrange 12 large spoonfuls on the prepared tray.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
