Ingredients

For the cheese puffs

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups grated tasty cheese
  • 1 egg — beaten
  • 1⁄2 cup milk

Method

For the cheese puffs

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan bake). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder and cayenne in a large bowl.
  • Stir in the cheese, then the egg and milk.
  • Arrange 12 large spoonfuls on the prepared tray.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
