Rather addictive and so easy to make.
Ingredients
For the citrus & pistachio no-bake slice
- 395g can condensed milk
- 200g butter
- Zest of 1 orange — finely grated
- Zest of 1 lemon — finely grated
- 500g plain sweet biscuits — crushed
- 3⁄4 cup roughly chopped toasted pistachios
For the CITRUS ICING
- 2 1⁄2 cups icing sugar
- 50g butter — melted
- Juice of 1 orange
- Juice of 1 lemon
Method
For the citrus & pistachio no-bake slice
- Line a 28 x 18cm slice tin with baking paper.
- Heat the condensed milk and butter in a large saucepan.
- Mix in the orange and lemon zest, then the crushed biscuits and pistachios.
- Press into the prepared slice tin and refrigerate for about 40 minutes.
- To make the Citrus Icing, mix the icing sugar, melted butter and as much orange and lemon juice as needed to achieve a spreadable consistency.
- Spread over the slice and refrigerate until set.
