Ingredients

For the copycat coleslaw

  • 4 cups finely shredded cabbage
  • 1 carrot — peeled and shredded or grated
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons finely diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Method

For the copycat coleslaw

  • Mix the cabbage and carrot in a bowl.
  • To make the dressing, combine all the remaining ingredients in a bowl or jug and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and stir well.
  • Refrigerate the coleslaw for at least 30 minutes before serving.
