These crispy, cheesy bites of broccoli have become a regular feature of our meals at Tangleby.

Ingredients
For the crispy cheese-baked broccoli
- 1–2 heads broccoli
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
- ¼ cup finely grated parmesan
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for drizzling
Method
For the crispy cheese-baked broccoli
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan bake). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Cut the broccoli into bite-size florets.
- Whisk the eggs and milk in a medium bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and both cheeses with the Italian seasoning, garlic powder and pepper.
- Dip each piece of broccoli in the egg mixture until well coated, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture to coat.
- Arrange on the prepared tray and drizzle with a little oil. Bake for 18–25 minutes until crispy.
