Crispy Orange Pork

Take stir-fry pork up a notch with a sticky-sweet orange sauce. Serve with rice.

Ingredients
- 750g pork fillets
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- A pinch of garlic salt
- A pinch of ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 red onion – cut into wedges
- 1 red capsicum – sliced
- 100g green beans
Zesty Orange Sauce
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- Finely grated zest of ½ orange
- Juice of 2 large oranges
- 3 tablespoons caster sugar
- 2 cloves garlic – crushed
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
- 1½ teaspoons cornflour mixed with 1 tablespoon water
Method
- Cut the pork into 5mm slices.
- Combine the cornflour, garlic salt and pepper in a shallow bowl. Add the pork and turn to coat.
- Heat a little oil in a large pan over a high heat. Working in batches, cook the pork until golden. Set aside on paper towels as you go.
- Add a little more oil to the same pan and sauté the red onion, capsicum and beans for a few minutes.
- To make the sauce, combine all the ingredients in a small bowl.
- Add to the pan and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the pork and serve immediately.
