Crispy ravioli with pasta sauce canapé

This quick and easy canapé is a guaranteed hit with guests.



For the crispy ravioli with pasta sauce canapé

  • 60g butter
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup finely grated parmesan
  • ⅛ teaspoon finely ground black pepper
  • 300g cheese-filled store-bought ravioli
  • Olive oil, for drizzling
  • ¾ cup pasta sauce — warmed
  • Fresh parsley, to serve (optional)


For the crispy ravioli with pasta sauce canapé

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C fan bake). Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  • Melt the butter in a small bowl.
  • Combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan and pepper in another bowl.
  • Coat the ravioli in the melted butter, then in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Arrange the ravioli on the prepared trays and drizzle with the oil.
  • Bake for 10–14 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned.
  • To serve, divide warmed pasta sauce between canapé spoons and top each with 1-2 crispy ravioli. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
