This quick and easy canapé is a guaranteed hit with guests.
Ingredients
For the crispy ravioli with pasta sauce canapé
- 60g butter
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup finely grated parmesan
- ⅛ teaspoon finely ground black pepper
- 300g cheese-filled store-bought ravioli
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- ¾ cup pasta sauce — warmed
- Fresh parsley, to serve (optional)
Method
For the crispy ravioli with pasta sauce canapé
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C fan bake). Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
- Melt the butter in a small bowl.
- Combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan and pepper in another bowl.
- Coat the ravioli in the melted butter, then in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the ravioli on the prepared trays and drizzle with the oil.
- Bake for 10–14 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned.
- To serve, divide warmed pasta sauce between canapé spoons and top each with 1-2 crispy ravioli. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
