Crumbing and oven baking results in pork chops that are succulent on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Ingredients
- 4 thick pork chops or cutlets
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1½ teaspoons garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- Mustard or applesauce, to serve (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 210°C (190°C fan bake).
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- To prepare the pork, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic salt, onion powder, paprika, sugar and pepper in a large plastic bag.
- Add two chops and toss to coat well. Place on the prepared tray. Repeat with the other two chops.
- Drizzle the chops with the oil.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, then turn and bake for an additional 10–12 minutes.
- Serve with mustard or applesauce if desired.
