  • 1 fresh pineapple

Method

For the dehydrated pineapple

  • Preheat the oven to 110°C (90°C fan bake). Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  • Cut the tough outside shell from the pineapple and discard.
  • Cut the flesh into very thin slices.
  • Use paper towels to dry the slices as much as you can.
  • Arrange on the prepared trays and cook for 1¼ hours.
  • Turn the slices of pineapple over and cook for another 1¼ hours.
  • Once they are fully dried, carefully press each slice into a muffin cup to shape it.
  • Leave to cool completely.
