- 1 fresh pineapple
Method
For the dehydrated pineapple
- Preheat the oven to 110°C (90°C fan bake). Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
- Cut the tough outside shell from the pineapple and discard.
- Cut the flesh into very thin slices.
- Use paper towels to dry the slices as much as you can.
- Arrange on the prepared trays and cook for 1¼ hours.
- Turn the slices of pineapple over and cook for another 1¼ hours.
- Once they are fully dried, carefully press each slice into a muffin cup to shape it.
- Leave to cool completely.
