For the dried citrus slices
- Citrus of your choice — lime, lemon, orange, blood orange, grapefruit
Method
For the dried citrus slices
- Preheat the oven to 100°C (80°C fan bake). Line baking trays with baking paper.
- Wash and thinly slice the citrus.
- Arrange each variety of citrus in a single layer on a separate tray as they will bake at varying times. Limes and lemons take 2–3 hours. Oranges and grapefruit take 3–4 hours.
- Halfway through the bake time, flip the citrus slices.
- Once they are dehydrated, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container.
