Dinner doesn’t get much easier than this super-quick pasta dish.

Ingredients
- 300g ready-made ravioli or tortellini – any flavour
- 60g butter
- 1 onion – diced
- ⅔ cup sliced mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic – crushed
- ¼ cup white wine
- ¾ cup cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan, plus extra to serve
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh basil, to serve
Method
- Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions. Drain, reserving ½ cup cooking water. Set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the onion and mushrooms and sauté for 3–4 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the wine and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the cream and parmesan and simmer, stirring constantly, until the parmesan is melted and the sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Season with pepper.
- Stir in the pasta and a splash of the reserved pasta cooking water and cook until just heated through.
- Serve topped with the basil and extra parmesan.
