Honey and Garlic Chicken

Serve this sweet and sticky chicken with rice and a side of vegetables for an easy family meal the kids will love.

Ingredients
- 1kg skinless, boneless chicken thighs
- ⅓ cup cornflour
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 15g butter
- 4 cloves garlic – crushed
- ⅓ cup honey
- ⅓ cup chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
Method
- Cut the chicken thighs in half.
- Combine the cornflour, garlic salt and pepper in a shallow bowl. Add the chicken and turn to coat.
- Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the chicken for 5 minutes each side or until golden brown.
- Add the butter and garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the honey, stock, vinegar and soy sauce.
- Simmer for 6 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- To serve, transfer the chicken to a serving plate and drizzle with the sauce.
