A nice kick of heat in the lamb is complemented by the creaminess of the mint and pepper yoghurt.

Ingredients

  • 12 lamb chops
  • ½ tablespoon cooking oil

Spice Mix

  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander

Mint and Pepper Yoghurt

  • ½ cup plain Greek yoghurt
  • ¼ cup mint – finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Method

  • Combine the spice mix ingredients together. Coat the lamb chops with the spice mix.
  • Mix all the mint and pepper yoghurt ingredients together and set aside in a small serving dish.
  • Drizzle the lamb chops with the cooking oil.
  • Heat a large frying pan over a medium heat and cook the lamb chops for about 3 minutes each side or until cooked to your liking.
  • Serve with the mint and pepper yoghurt sauce.
