Ingredients
For the irish coffee
- ½ cup cream
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 cups hot black coffee
- About ½ cup Irish whiskey
Method
For the irish coffee
- Whip the cream, sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Place a teaspoon of brown sugar into each of 4 heatproof glasses.
- Half fill each glass with hot coffee and stir to dissolve the sugar.
- Add your desired amount of whiskey to each glass.
- Top up with the remaining coffee.
- Top with the whipped cream to serve.
