Ingredients

For the jamaician bananas

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 bananas — sliced however you like
  • ¼ cup raw sugar
  • ⅓ cup rum

Method

For the jamaician bananas

  • Melt the butter in a large pan.
  • Add the bananas and pan-fry for 1–2 minutes to get a little colour on them.
  • Sprinkle with the raw sugar and cook for a further 2 minutes to caramelise.
  • Add the rum and cook for 1 minute.
