Lamb chops with basil and dijon butter

This is a great barbeque dish.



For the lamb chops

  • 8 lamb chops
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Garlic salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, to garnish

For the basil and dijon butter

  • 80g butter — softened
  • 2 cloves garlic — crushed
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard


For the lamb chops with basil and dijon butter

  • To make the Basil & Dijon Butter, combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Refrigerate until needed.
  • Drizzle the chops with oil and sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper.
  • Heat the barbeque grill or a large pan over a medium-high heat. Add the chops and cook until done to your liking.
  • To serve, to with Basil & Dijon Butter and garnish with extra basil.
