This is a great barbeque dish.
Ingredients
For the lamb chops
- 8 lamb chops
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Garlic salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil, to garnish
For the basil and dijon butter
- 80g butter — softened
- 2 cloves garlic — crushed
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
Method
For the lamb chops with basil and dijon butter
- To make the Basil & Dijon Butter, combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Refrigerate until needed.
- Drizzle the chops with oil and sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper.
- Heat the barbeque grill or a large pan over a medium-high heat. Add the chops and cook until done to your liking.
- To serve, to with Basil & Dijon Butter and garnish with extra basil.
