Ingredients
For the maple pecan baked brie
- 200g round brie cheese
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup roughly chopped pecans
- Microgreens, to garnish (optional)
- French bread, crackers and sliced apple, to serve
Method
For the maple pecan baked brie
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (155°C fan bake). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place the brie on the prepared tray and bake for 15 minutes or until softened.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool for about 5 minutes.
- While the brie cools, place the maple syrup, sugar and cinnamon in a small saucepan and stir over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in the pecans.
- Transfer the brie to a serving platter and pour the mixture over the top. Garnish with microgreens, if desired.
- Serve immediately with French bread, crackers and apple slices.
