For the maple pecan baked brie

  • 200g round brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup roughly chopped pecans
  • Microgreens, to garnish (optional)
  • French bread, crackers and sliced apple, to serve


For the maple pecan baked brie

  • Preheat the oven to 175°C (155°C fan bake). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Place the brie on the prepared tray and bake for 15 minutes or until softened.
  • Remove from the oven and leave to cool for about 5 minutes.
  • While the brie cools, place the maple syrup, sugar and cinnamon in a small saucepan and stir over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in the pecans.
  • Transfer the brie to a serving platter and pour the mixture over the top. Garnish with microgreens, if desired.
  • Serve immediately with French bread, crackers and apple slices.
