Ingredients

  • 45g butter
  • 200g button mushrooms – thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic – crushed
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 teaspoon chicken stock powder
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Method

  • Melt the butter in a pan over a medium-high heat.
  • Add the mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Stir in the cream, stock powder, mustard and worcestershire sauce.
  • Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  • Season with garlic salt and pepper.
