This one pan wonder comes together very quickly and makes for a very hearty meal.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 8 pork sausages
- 6 rashers bacon – chopped
- 200g Swiss brown mushrooms – halved
- 330ml cider
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 1/3 cup caramelised onion relish
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
Method
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Brown the sausages.
- Add in the bacon and mushrooms. Cook for 3 – 4 minutes.
- In a medium bowl mix ¼ cup of cider with the cornflour to make a slurry.
- Add in the remaining cider, relish and vinegar to the bowl.
- Tip into the frying pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
