Pan Fried Fish with an Asian Sauce

Ingredients
Fish
- 4 x fish fillets
- ½ cup flour
- Garlic salt
- White pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Asian Sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
- 2 cloves garlic – crushed
- ½ tablespoon brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- Fresh coriander chopped spring onion and lime wedges for serving.
Method
- Combine the flour with a good pinch of garlic salt and pepper. Coat the fish with the mixture.
- Heat the cooking oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat.
- Fry the fish until golden on both sides and cooked through.
- Place all the sauce ingredients into a small saucepan. Whisk well and bring to a simmer for a few minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
- Place a spoonful of sauce on a plate and top with a cooked fish fillet.
- Serve sprinkled with fresh coriander, chopped spring onion and a wedge of lime.
