Pork and Bean Stir-Fry

Here it takes only a few ingredients to make an amazingly tasty meal.


  • 500g pork fillet – trimmed and sliced
  • ¼ cup cornflour
  • ¼ cup apricot jam
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons chilli garlic sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 250g green beans
  • 2 spring onions – sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds – toasted


  • To prepare the pork, place the cornflour in a shallow bowl. Add the pork and turn to coat.
  • Whisk the jam, soy sauce, sesame oil and chilli garlic sauce in a small bowl.
  • Heat the cooking oil in a large pan or wok over a high heat.
  • Add the pork and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and crisp.
  • Stir in the beans and continue to cook, stirring often, until al dente.
  • Stir in the jam mixture and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the spring onions.
  • Serve topped with the sesame seeds.
