Little kids and big kids alike love this slice!
Ingredients
- 6 cups rice bubbles
- ¾ cup sugar
- 180g butter – cubed
- 3 tablespoons honey
Method
- Line a 20cm square baking pan with baking paper. Place the rice bubbles into a large bowl.
- In a heavy bottomed saucepan, combine the sugar, butter and honey.
- Place over a medium heat and stir with a spatula until the butter is melted and everything comes together.
- Reduce the heat slightly and continue to cook for 2 ½ minutes, stirring constantly with the spatula.
- Remove from the heat and pour the mixture over the rice bubbles. Combine well.
- Tip the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press down with the spatula or a spoon dipped in water.
- Leave to set for several hours before cutting into squares.
