Ingredients
For the 1 seasoned white rice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chicken or vegetable stock powder
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups water
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Method
For the seasoned white rice
- Place the butter, oil and stock powder in a saucepan over a medium heat and stir to combine.
- Once the stock has been incorporated, add the rice and stir to coat.
- Add the water, bring to a bubbly boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook according to the packet instructions.
- Fluff the rice, season with salt and pepper and serve topped with the parsley.
