Ingredients

For the sesame noodles

  • 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small red onion — diced
  • 1⁄2 red capsicum — diced
  • 350g ready-to-use Singapore noodles
  • 1⁄3 cup salted peanuts

Method

For the sesame noodles

  • Whisk the soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, sriracha, garlic powder and pepper in a bowl.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan and sauté the onion and capsicum until soft.
  • Add the noodles and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add the sauce and peanuts and stir-fry for a few minutes until well mixed.
