Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage

I make this quite often. It goes with so many different proteins and is very mouthwatering.

Ingredients

  • 30g butter
  • ½ red cabbage – sliced into ½ cm slices
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Method

  • Melt the butter in a large saucepan.
  • Add in the cabbage and sauté for 5 minutes – stirring often.
  • Add in the balsamic vinegar and sugar, put the lid on the saucepan and simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes.
