Ingredients

Avocado & Orange Salad with Tangleby House Dressing

  • 4 cups lettuce - roughly chopped
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1 orange - cut into segments
  • 1 avocado - sliced and drizzled with lemon juice
  • 1/4 red onion - sliced

Candied Walnuts

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Tangleby House Dressing

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic - crushed
  • 2 tablespoons each: maple syrup, apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Avocado & Orange Salad with Tangleby House Dressing

  • Place all the salad ingredients on a serving platter.
  • Candied walnuts - in a small frying pan, add in all the ingredients and simmer for 2 minutes - set aside.
  • Tangleby House Dressing - whisk all the ingredients together.
  • To serve - drizzle the salad with the dressing and sprinkle over the candied walnuts.
