Ingredients
BLT
- 6 rashers streaky bacon
- 6 slices bread
- Margarine or softened butter
- 1 large tomato - sliced and placed on a paper towel to get rid of any excess moisture.
- 2 lettuce leaves - washed
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Mayonnaise
Method
BLT
- Preheat oven to 200oC (180oC fan bake). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Weave the bacon as shown in the picture - cook for 20 minutes.
- Butter the bread, layer with sliced tomato, salt and pepper, lettuce and mayonnaise.
- Place the bacon on the next layer, cut and enjoy.
