Ingredients
Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 225g butter - softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 2/3 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 1 teaspoon each: baking powder, salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Method
Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Preheat oven to 190oC (170oC fan bake). Line baking trays with baking paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars together. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- In a medium bowl, whisk flour, cornflour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together.
- Add to the butter mixture and combine well. Fold through the chocolate chips.
- Roll the mixture into balls. With a floured fork, press the balls down.
- Bake the cookies for 13 - 16 minutes or until golden brown.
