Ingredients

Cowboy Butter

  • 225g butter
  • 4 cloves garlic - crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Method

Cowboy Butter

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter and cook the garlic for 1 minute.
  • Whisk in the Dijon mustard and lemon juice followed by the remaining ingredients.
  • Tip the mixture into a refrigerator container and cover.
  • Leave to set before placing a spoonful onto cooked meats.
