Ingredients
Easy beef Stir Fry
- 500g steak - cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Stir Fry Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chicken stock
- 2 teaspoons rice wine
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic - crushed
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger - grated
- 1 teaspoon cornflour
Everything Else
- 2 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cups stir fry vegetables - red onion, capsicum, beans, carrot, broccoli etc
- Sesame seeds for garnishing
Method
Easy Beef Stir Fry
- Marinate the beef for 15 - 30 minutes.
- Whisk the sauce ingredients together.
- Heat a tablespoon olive oil in a wok or large frying pan over a high heat. Brown the beef in batches - set aside.
- Turn the heat to medium. Add a little more oil to the pan and stir fry the vegetables for about 4 minutes or until tender.
- Add in the sauce and stir until thickened.
- Tip in the beef and any resting juices and warm through.
- Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
