Ingredients

Easy beef Stir Fry

  • 500g steak - cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Stir Fry Sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chicken stock
  • 2 teaspoons rice wine
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic - crushed
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger - grated
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour

Everything Else

  • 2 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups stir fry vegetables - red onion, capsicum, beans, carrot, broccoli etc
  • Sesame seeds for garnishing

Method

Easy Beef Stir Fry

  • Marinate the beef for 15 - 30 minutes.
  • Whisk the sauce ingredients together.
  • Heat a tablespoon olive oil in a wok or large frying pan over a high heat. Brown the beef in batches - set aside.
  • Turn the heat to medium. Add a little more oil to the pan and stir fry the vegetables for about 4 minutes or until tender.
  • Add in the sauce and stir until thickened.
  • Tip in the beef and any resting juices and warm through.
  • Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
