Ingredients
Garlic Prawn Stir Fry Sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 cloves garlic - crushed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon each: sesame oil, chili sauce
Stir Fry
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 red pepper - sliced
- 1 bunch asparagus - trimmed and cut into thirds
- 1 small red onion - sliced
- 400g raw prawn meat
- Garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Method
Garlic Prawn Stir Fry
- Whisk all the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl - set aside.
- heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok over a medium heat.
- Stir fry the vegetables for 5 minutes.
- Add in the prawns and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the sauce and cook until thickened.
