Ingredients
Hot Honey Salmon
- 4 salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 80g butter
- 4 cloves garlic - crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger - grated
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
Method
Hot Honey Salmon
- Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper and the paprika.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the salmon, skin side down for 2 minutes.
- Flip the salmon over and cook for another 2 minutes - set aside.
- Add the butter to the same pan and melt. Add in the garlic, ginger and chilli. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add in the honey, lime juice and soy sauce. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes. Add the salmon back into the pan and heat through until the salmon is done to your liking.
