Ingredients

Maple, Mustard and Apple Pork Chops

  • 4 pork chops
  • Garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • 2 apples - peeled and sliced

Sauce

  • 330ml apple cider
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon each: Dijon mustard, grain mustard, miso paste, soy sauce, Sriracha
  • 2 cloves garlic - crushed
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

Method

Maple, Mustard and Apple Pork Chops

  • Season the pork chops with garlic salt and pepper. Drizzle them with a little olive oil.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk all the sauce ingredients together.
  • Heat a large frying pan over a medium/high heat. Cook the pork chops for 3 - 5 minutes each side. Set aside.
  • Pan fry the apple slices for a few minutes . Set aside.
  • Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add the pork and apple slices back into the pan, with the sauce and simmer for 1 - 2 minutes.
