Ingredients
Filling
- 2 x 410g cans pears in juice - drained and diced
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Pecan Crumble
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup pecans - chopped
- 80g butter - cubed
- Cream or ice cream for serving
Method
Pear & Pecan Crumble
- Preheat the oven to 180oC (160oC fan bake).
- In a medium bowl, mix all the filling ingredients together. Tip them into a small oven proof dish.
- Pecan Crumble - mix all the dry ingredients together. Melt the butter and mis through the dry ingredients.
- Top the pears with the crumble. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden.
- Serve with cream or ice cream.
