Sticky Asian Pork Ribs
Brown Sugar Rub
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon each: salt, chilli powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin
Sticky Asian Sauce
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger - grated
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic - crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes
Method
Sticky Asian Pork Ribs
- Preheat oven to 150oC (130oC fan bake). Line a roasting dish with foil or baking paper.
- Whisk all the brown sugar rub ingredients together.
- Completely cover both sides of the ribs with the rub.
- Place on the prepared roasting dish and cook for 3 hours or until the meat is falling off the bone.
- Combine all the sticky Asian sauce ingredients together in a small saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes over a low heat.
- To serve - brush the ribs with the sauce, cut and serve.
