Sweet Chili Pork Fillet with Orange & Maple Kumara Puree
- 2 x 350g pork fillets
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper
Sauce
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger - grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Method
Sweet Chili Pork Fillet with Orange & Maple Kumara Puree
- Preheat oven to 180oC (160oC fan bake).
- Smother the pork fillets with the cooking oil, paprika, garlic salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk all the sauce ingredients together.
- Heat an oven proof frying pan over a medium/high heat. Sear the pork fillets on all sides.
- Place the pork into the oven and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and brush over some of the sauce.
- Cook the pork for another 5 minutes. Leave to rest in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Serve the pork on top of the puree and drizzle with the remaining sauce.
