Apple Crumble
- 1 x 770g can apple slices
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup oats
- 3/4 cup flour
- 120g butter, diced into small cubes
- Pinch salt
- Ice cream, to serve
Method
Apple Crumble
- Preheat oven to 180° C (160° C fan bake). Spray a 20cm square baking dish with baking spray
- Combine the apples, white sugar and 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon in a bowl. Transfer to the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl mix the white sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, brown sugar, oats, flour, butter and salt.
- With a fork, or your hands, push the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture is crumbly.
- Spread the crumble over the apples and bake for 40 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Serve with ice cream
