For the Oreo Chocolate Brownie
- 120g butter — softened
- 300g plus 100g cooking chocolate — in pieces
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 24 Oreos broken into pieces
Method
For the Oreo Chocolate Brownie
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan bake).
- Line a 20 x 20cm baking pan
- Place the butter and first measure of chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave until they are melted, stirring every 15 seconds.
- Add in the sugar and mix well.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after adding each egg.
- Add in the flour and stir until no lumps are visible.
- Pour half the brownie batter into the baking pan and top with half of the Oreos.
- Pour the remaining batter into the baking pan.
- Top the mixture with the remaining Oreos and the second measure of chocolate pieces.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out with a few fudgy crumbs.
